Around the world there are a number of giant clothing retailers. Cheaper and more expensive. But If you do not want to buy Hugo Boss or Lacoste, the offer is somewhat limited in Malta.
In Malta, the major retailers in the clothing industry are shining with their absence. Clothing brands with more mediocre prices do not occur to the same extent with lots of shopping streets, compared to other countries.
To make such a high demand for Malta, which is such a small country, may have some high expectations. But apparently there seems to be a market for the more expensive brands. The galleria The Point in Sliema has lots of luxury shops.
ZARA is a major chain that has managed to establish itself on the island and now begins to form some form of monopoly on cheaper clothes on the island.
