Malta tourism



Malta has a vibrant Tourism industry, with more than 1 million visitors a year, it is now the country's largest source of income, as with other parts of the service sector, employing 74 percent of the population. The Island of Malta is located in the Mediterranean, and it is a country rich in numerous historic sites, especially those relating to successive rule by the Romans, French and British. With a population of less than 500,000 people, Malta is regarded as the Mediterranean Island paradise, with great tourist attractions such as the romantic Valletta waterfront, The Tarxien temples, and the National war museum.
