Fireworks is a symbol of celebration, magic and excitement to most people. Few things can make the sky colorful the way fireworks do. Malta International Fireworks Festival is no exception.
"The Maltese are well known for their love and expertise of fireworks. The 16th edition of the Malta International Fireworks Festival is a showcase of the best of Maltese aerial pyrotechnic talent that vies with international firework companies", says visitMALTA.
But there is of course other aspects as well. The environment and all pets (especially dogs, because of their good ears), are hurt a lot by these incredible light shows we adore so much. But there are no up-sides without down-sides.
"The Festival will be taking place on three nights between Saturday 22nd April and Sunday 30th April 2017 in three different locations around the Maltese Islands, namely Xagħra (Gozo), Marsaxlokk and Valletta. The event kicks off in Gozo on Saturday 22nd April, followed by a performance in Marsaxlokk on Friday 28th April, and the Grand Finale taking place in the Grand Harbour, Valletta on Sunday 30th April 2017", according to visitMALTA.
It is a fairly new festival which has become known worldwide. If you have the possibility to make a visit it is a major attraction not to miss out of in Malta.
