Kevin James Borg, the famous Maltese pop singer was born on the 9 th of June, 1986 in the city of Floriana, Malta. He has spent most of his life in Sweden, where he works and lives. He came into stardom in the year 2008 when he won the Swedish Idol singing competition, and what even made his victory incredible was that he was the third male to win the competition but the first winner to be born outside of Sweden. He moved to Sweden a year before he became the winner of the competition. Kevin was not born a singer, he was a football, playing for his local football club side before he ventured into music.
