What to do summer 2017 in Malta.

Many surfers go to Malta. If you love the summer this you need to visit Malta. I could write a book on the tons of things to do in the summer. There are beaches, sailing, swimming, diving and lots more water sports. You can explore ruins, temples, and gardens. The food is fresh and plentiful and comes in a wide range of tastes. The nightlife is non-stop and always a great time. There are plenty of family oriented events, romantic getaways, and places for a little alone- time. Shopping is plentiful and so are excellent accommodations. Malta is up-date with all the modern amenities you would want, yet keeps its old world charm.

Gan Anton Vassallo- Famous Maltese poet, author and professor

Gan Anton Vassallo was born on the 6 th of June, 1817, and died on 28 th of March 1868. He was a famous poet and author who was famous for writing numerous literary works but was mostly remembered for his poem- Tifhira Lil Malta. Gan Anton was also known for his fluency in several languages, including Maltese, French, Latin, Italian, Arabic and English, and that made him to be one of the most respected authors in the history of Malta. He had begun his career by studying law at the University of Malta in 1839, and began teaching Italian at Liceo in 1850 before he became a professor in 1863.

Marriage Equality Promised

Debate is going on in Malta and it is about marriage equality: "The Mediterranean island held elections earlier this month, and Prime Minister Joseph Muscat’s Labour government was confirmed for a second term. He seeks to make good on electoral promises to implement marriage equality in the nation of some 400,000, hoping it will win passage in parliament before summer’s end."
