Malta Unemployment Top 4

Unemployment in Europe April 2017
Malta has a population of almost half of a million inhabitants, and it is a small island to share between many people. Cozy in one way but, maybe a bit to close to the neighbors sometimes.
However, the market of employments are relatively stable. It is more common to see employers looking for workers than workers look for a job. Malta has managed to reach a unemployment rate of 4,1 %. Very low, being number 4 in the EU, after Czech Republic, Germany and Iceland.
The Maltese economy has the gaming industry and other imported industries to be thankful of getting enormous incomes. But most workers in thos sectors are also workers from abroad.
Locals are common to find, amongst others, in tourism. The enormous industry holds more than a million tourists every year visiting the small island.
It is interesting to see countries with a history of high class welfare system, such as France being way beyond the EU average. Wealthy countries like Norway can't beat Malta either.
There is no doubt, if you want a job you should move to Malta!
